(Q)
Where do you get your ideas/inspiration from?

(A)
All of my ideas come come nature, and my inspiration comes from my desire to understand my self and the need to express that understanding to others.

:bulletblue:2.
(Q)
What is your favorite form of art?

(A)
Photography is my favorite form of art, because my father was a photographer and I learned as a child to become lost in a photograph.

:bulletblue:3.
(Q)
Why do you like this certain type of art?

(A)
I like photography because we can tell a whole story with a single image, and of course, I think I am good at it. Good enough, anyway, to take it seriously and to continue being productive and learning.

:bulletblue:4.
(Q)
How long have you been creating art?

(A)
I have been making photographs for over fifty years, which is certainly long enough to have developed my own eye.

:bulletblue:5.
(Q)
Who is your favorite artist?

(A)
Salvador Dali

:bulletblue:6.
(Q)
What is your preferred medium and why?

(A)
What is your preferred medium and why?
I prefer black and white photographs, because you can do so much to them.

:bulletblue:7.
(Q)
What is your preferred subject and why?

(A)
Right now I am doing a black and white study on cheetahs (you can see my page for some, if they are not here), because I want to bring attention to all endangered species. I do have a particular fascination with cheetahs, as I think they are embedded in our genetic memory.

:bulletblue:8.
(Q)
Where would you like to go with your art?

(A)
My goal right now is to book more shows (I have two right now) in the Kansas City area for my cheetahs, and get a corporate sponsor to hang some permanently.

:bulletblue:9.
(Q)
Have you shown your art anywhere before?

(A)
I have had, and I have been in many shows, and I am a permanent member of a gallery.

:bulletblue:10.
(Q)
How has your work developed throughout the years?

(A)
I have grown a sort of light meter in my head over the years, and learned how to get what I want out of a lens. I have spent a great deal of time learning my lenses, one at a time.

:bulletblue:11.
(Q)
Please tell us a little bit about you.

(A)
Married for 34 years to Nana; two children; three grandchildren; and a Labrador dog named, Bingo, not to mention two cats.

:bulletblue:12.
(Q)
What would you like to share that we might not have asked?

(A)
I have been a naturalist all of my life, and I think that sums it up. I see meaning in nature, and my greatest desire is to reveal that meaning to others through photography.
